The Termite Mound is a garment prototype, the figurehead of my Perspectiva Insectorum textile collection, inspired by insect architecture. The Termite Mound demonstrates the potential of this experimental textile for wearable pieces.

The shape and silhouette is inspired by the impressive structure of termite mounds. The yellow felting represents the moss that grows on insects’ mounds and colonies, as well as the symbiotic relationship that comes with it.
